Tvornica was born out of a single walk and a spark of an idea — when founder Irina Milijić crossed paths with Nataša Kolmanko, the two creative forces quickly realised they shared a vision worth building. Since opening its doors in October 2023, their Ljubljana-based sales gallery has grown into one of the city's most vibrant spaces for Slovenian design and craftsmanship.

At its core, Tvornica is a concept store with a soul — bringing together handcrafted clothing, jewellery, accessories, ceramics, artwork and upcycled furniture, all made by independent local creators. It has a particular soft spot for young and emerging makers, offering them not just shelf space, but a real platform to start and grow their creative business.

What makes Tvornica truly stand out is the energy behind it. Irina, with her background in fashion design and retail, and Nataša, with her sharp eye for people, communication and organisation, have built more than a gallery — they've built a community. From art exhibitions and pop-up events to their own in-house production team and clothing brand, Tvornica keeps evolving, always with the same unstoppable spirit it started with.
